She will be presentating a case study on how SABMiller is using Social Media globally to attract talent, with a focus on senior level recruiting strategies for the manufacturing business.
Jennifer Candee is the Group Head of Talent Acquisition for SABMiller plc, based at the company’s headquarters in the UK.
Founded in S. Africa in 1895, SABMiller has grown to become one of the world’s most respected brewing companies with operations in over 60 countries across 6 continents.
SABMiller manufactures and markets over 200 beer brands across 127 breweries and has close to 70,000 employees globally.
Jennifer’s remit includes the executive recruitment as well as the development and implementation of best practices within talent acquisition for the company’s global locations in LatAm, S. Africa, Asia / Africa and Europe. Her expertise centres on implementing direct sourcing methodologies and development of talent pipelines into internal corporate recruitment.
Prior to SABMiller plc, she has spearheaded and directed two internal corporate recruitment teams within 20 and 30 year operating companies and taken them from a full agency model to an internal strategic headhunting centre for the business.
Previous industries have included Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications and professional services in search consultancy.
Jennifer holds her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and is certified as a Senior Professional of HR.
