With the rise of social media and social recruiting within several companies today, we will start seeing more interesting titles that kind of connects a corporate recruiter with social media.
My hunch is that Social Recruiting Manager, will be more popular in the years to come. It has a good balance between social media and the social recruiting element. Many smart Corporate Recruiters and Recruitment Managers can start equiping themselves with the tools needed to take up this roles, as they will be specialist – and these skills will probably be scarce till the next 3-5 years.

The Social Recruiting Manager is directly responsible for the strategic planning, sourcing, attraction and recruitment of talent via the effective use of social media and candidate engagement methods, in order to attain company objectives and drive the overall business objectives.
He/she will have a special focus on emerging media, including social media, digital display advertising, mobile media, online video etc.
Reporting to the HR Director, and liaising with the HR and PR Teams, the candidate will develop, lead and execute resourcing strategies across the business, via the use of Social Media.
> Responsible for facilitating talent sourcing and candidate engagement for corporate roles within the company via social media.
> Facilitates the leveraging of best practices and culture within the company to promote employee engagement and improved business results.
> Ensure that metrics are established, in partnership with the HR Business Partner, to measure the success of the SRM role and to enable continuous improvement
> Demonstrates commercial awareness so that factors that impinge on the organisation can be realised and proactively managed.
> Builds and maintains credibility and strong working relationships with relevant line leaders and the HR community within the company and the wider organisation.
> Acts as a coach, mentor and sounding board for line leaders and Junior Social Recruiting Advisors
> Ensures development of clear employee communications and feedback processes
> Provides advice and direction on performance related and employee relation issues
> Ensures Business Unit reward structures are in place to reward and recognise high performance, innovation and creativity
> Drives and executes recruitment best practices for the company using social media and social networks
> Drives and executes leadership development and succession planning within the company
> Graduate Calibre, with a consious understanding of Social Media tools
> Prior experience in HR, Recruitment, Talent Attraction, Resourcing
> Ability to write regular recruitment blogs on the HR and careers pages
> Knowledge of any/all of WordPress, Typepad, Blogger as blogging software
> Understanding of how to engage with an audience via Blogs and Vlogs
> Effective use of LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook as a candidate sourcing tool
> Knowledge of Web Apps that facilitates communications via Social Media
> Skilled with the ability to have meaningful converstions on Social Networks
> Important to reflect the culture of the company in engaging with prospective candidates
> Knowledge of Recruitment SEO and SEM will be of great value, but not required
> Web-savvy, engaging, self-starter, outgoing, communicator and a negotiator
