Please pardon the double use of the phrase Social Recruiting in the title. It actually does state the fact. This quick post will be about how a recruiter is engaging with potential talent, via Twitter.
Interestingly, the role is for a Social Recruiting Coordinator, and its quite notable that the platform is a Social Recruiting medium – twitter in this case.
A few days ago, I wrote about a Social Recruiting Coordinator position (which has actually been retweeted a few times already) and what I found fascinating was the job description, which I admit was more fun than my own Social Recruiting Manager suggested profile a while back.
But just a few hours ago, a candidate (Georgia Chevere) has applied for the role, and also informed Wunderland via Twitter. Appararently, she followed them recently and the company engaged with her online. I can’t help but wish her the best with that job.
Of course, not all candidate searching for roles via Twitter will mention to the employer or recruiter that they just applied for a job, but this goes to demonstrate the openness of conversations via Social Media for Recruitment purposes.
It will be nice to see more of these conversations, where more companies and candidates adopt Social Recruiting.
